Chocolate covered Strawberries

A simple but awesome idea for a Valentine's Day dessert or an easy after-dinner treat.

Chocolate and strawberries has been and will always be the classics of desserts. That’s why this is a simple fantastic idea. Make it more interesting by adding some different coating, it’s a good way to show the creative side of you.

Chocolate covered Strawberries

Total: 15 min
Servings: A dozen

Ingredients

A dozen of strawberries (washed and dried)
1 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips (you can use white, milk, or any other kind you like)
1 tbsp of vegetable oil
Candy beads, crushed nuts (optional)

Instructions

Over a pot with simmering water, place a wide bowl on top. Make sure the bowl doesn't touch the water.
Add in all the chocolate and wait until melt around 5-6 minutes.
Dip all the strawberries in the melted chocolate and cool them on parchment paper. Garnish with some nuts or sugar beads or drizzle different flavored chocolate.
Let cool at room temperature around 5 minutes and set in the fridge for another 10 minutes. Enjoy!
